Cardiac disease in pregnancy remains the leading cause of maternal mortality in the UK. This one day meeting seeks to address education for generalists, specialists and trainees from O&G, cardiology, anaesthetics and midwifery in the field of obstetric cardiology. 

It will focus on updates on topical issues within obstetric cardiology, with presentations from leaders in their fields.  In addition to lecture based sessions, there will be panel discussions addressing areas where there are controversies, as well as a live multidisciplinary team meeting to debate clinical management and share practice.
