Surgical Masterclass in Urogynaecology

bsugThis practical masterclass aims to demonstrate commonly used surgical techniques in pelvic floor reconstruction and present evidence for their use. Prevention and management of complications will be discussed, as well as topical issues around governance of surgical procedures.

The varied programme includes renowned speakers and will stimulate thought and discussion. Each procedure will be demonstrated using high quality videos. After each session there will be a round table discussion with the opportunity to quiz the faculty on surgical technique and evidence presented. 

This course is recognised for the ATSM in Urogynaecology and will be desirable for subspecialty trainees in urogynaecology

Learning objectives

  • Be able to understand the indications, techniques, management and prevention of complications of surgery
  • Gain knowledge about the evidence supporting the techniques, evaluation, audit and governance
