How do I register?
Registration for this course opens on Monday 27 March 2017 at 12:30 (UK time). You can only register by phone. Please have your RCOG registration number and credit card handy. We are unable to take any registration before the above date and time.
How can I pay?
You need to pay at the time of booking using a debit or credit card. We are unable to reserve you a place if you do not have you’re your card details with you. Please note: we do not accept American Express credit cards.
How many places are there?
We have 30 places available for each day and places are allocated on a first come first served basis.
How long is the course?
The Part 3 Clinical Skills Course is one day course which the RCOG will run on five consecutive days. You may choose to attend one of the following dates (subject to availability at time of booking).
- Monday 24 April
- Tuesday 25 April
- Wednesday 26 April
- Thursday 27 April
- Friday 28 April
How will I know if I have received a place on the course?
The conference team will confirm your place when you book and you will receive an email confirmation and receipt once our finance team have processed the booking. This should arrive within 5 working days.
Can I book online, email or fax?
To make the process smoother we will only be accepting bookings by telephone.
Can my friend or colleague book for me?
Yes, they will need to have your RCOG Membership Number to hand when they call.
Is there a discount for registering for both MRCOG Final Preparation courses?
Yes, if you book for the Clinical Skills Course and the Clinical Assessment Course you will receive a discount of £30 off the total price. To qualify for the discount you must register for both courses together. Discount will not apply if you register separately for each course.
Can I cancel my clinical skills course registration, even though I have already paid the fees?
Cancellations must be received in writing by Monday 10 April 2017 and be accompanied by a copy of your confirmation email and receipt. An administrative charge of £50 per course will be made on all cancellations received before or on the above date. We regret the College cannot refund fees after the above date. No refunds will be made for non-attendance on the course.
What if I’ve paid for both courses but wish to cancel one?
As long as you are within the cancellation period for the course you are cancelling, you will receive a refund for the cancelled course, minus the £30 discount and a £50 administrative charge. Your cancellation request must be received in writing.
Can I send a colleague in my place if I’m unable to attend?
Yes, if you are unable to attend after registering, you can send a colleague in your place but you must notify us in writing and include your colleagues contact details.
