How do I register?
Registration for this course opens on Monday 5 Marchat 12:30 (UK time). You can only register by phone. Please have your RCOG registration number and credit card handy. We are unable to take any registrations or reserve places before the above date and time.
I can’t get through on the phone, what should I do?
If you cannot get through to a member of the events staff, please keep trying. We have a number of staff working to capacity to take registrations as fast as possible. Please do not email or leave phone messages as we will be unable to respond or answer them
How can I pay?
You need to pay at the time of booking using a debit or credit card. We are unable to reserve you a place if you do not have you’re your card details with you. Please note: we do not accept American Express credit cards.
How many places are there?
We have 30 places available for each day and places are allocated on a first come first served basis.
How long is the course?
The Part 3 Practical Course is one day course which the RCOG will run on five consecutive days. You may choose to attend one of the following dates (subject to availability at time of booking).
- Monday 16 April
- Tuesday17 April
- Wednesday 18 April
- Thursday 19 April
- Friday 20 April
How will I know if I have received a place on the course?
The conference team will confirm your place when you book. You will receive your email confirmation and receipt between Wednesday 7 March and Friday 9 March.
Can I book online, email or fax?
To make the process smoother we will only be accepting bookings by telephone.
Can my friend or colleague book for me?
Yes, they will need to have your RCOG Membership Number to hand when they call.
Is there a discount for registering for both MRCOG Final Preparation courses?
Yes, if you book for the Practical Course and the Recap Course together, you will receive a discount of £30 off the total price. To qualify for the discount you must register for both courses together. Discount will not apply if you register separately for each course.
Can I cancel my practical course registration, even though I have already paid the fees?
Cancellations must be received in writing by Monday 2 April and be accompanied by a copy of your confirmation email and receipt. An administrative charge of £50 per course will be made on all cancellations received before or on the above date. We regret the College cannot refund fees after the above date. No refunds will be made for non-attendance on the course
What if I’ve paid for both courses but wish to cancel one?
As long as you are within the cancellation period for the course you are cancelling, you will receive a refund for the cancelled course, minus the £30 discount and a £50 administrative charge. Your cancellation request must be received in writing, please refer to your confirmation email for the cancellation policy.
Can I send a colleague in my place if I’m unable to attend?
Yes, if you are unable to attend after registering, you can send a colleague in your place but you must notify us in writing and include your colleagues contact details.
I need a visa letter, can you send me one?
If you require a visa letter, we can provide one to support your application. This can only be issued to you once we have formally confirmed your place in writing and your payment has been processed. We cannot issue a visa letter beforehand.
The course is full, is there a waiting list?
After the spaces have been filled there will be a waiting list which will have capacity for a maximum of 30 people. The course rarely has cancellations, but if there is one the RCOG will contact you. Please do not contact the RCOG for updates.
