MRCOG Final Preparation: Part 3 Practical Course

Start: 09/04/2019 08:00
End: 12/04/2019 18:00

Location: RCOG
Programme: ~/link/7e9345000ea04ee8bd197bb07eba568c.aspx

This Part 3 Practical Course will give delegates a unique opportunity to practise and rehearse the clinical tasks set down in the new MRCOG Part 3 examination. The format has been altered to accommodate more delegates because of the previously experienced very high demand for this course.

The day will contain a 14-station circuit in which the delegates will complete in pairs. Each delegate will take turns to practise seven of the stations and observe in the other seven stations. When practising, you will receive individual feedback from the expert faculty, some of which will also use professional role players and lay faculty. The tasks will mimic those experienced in the examination. The observers will benefit from less pressurised scenarios and ample opportunities for vicarious learning. The other part of the day will be three hourly workshops sessions based on the five clinical skills domains incorporating unseen new task material to probe deeper into the domains.

Exposure to both these activities will help delegates reflect on individual strengths and identify areas for improvement and further practise.

Places on this course will be strictly limited to 56 per day.
