The Centre for Women’s Global Health has developed a number of open source resources to promote best practice and improvement of health care provision across varied settings.
Best Practice Papers
The Leading Safe Choices (LSC) programme has produced Best Practice Papers which set out the essential elements of high-quality postpartum family planning and comprehensive abortion and post-abortion care services.
These easy-to-use tools summarise existing evidence set out by the FSRH, RCOG and WHO. Fully peer-reviewed, the Best Practice Papers are generic and can easily be adapted to local circumstances.

Respectful care checklist and case studies
The RCOG advocates that all women have the right to receive high quality health care. This includes health care delivered with respect, dignity and compassion.
To support health professionals in understanding respectful care and the necessity to provide it even in the most stressful and challenging of situations, the RCOG has created resources for small group training where a facilitator leads the discussion with a group of delegates.
