Help us keep the College’s fascinating heritage alive
The RCOG’s unique and specialised heritage collections are open to Members and Fellows of the College, researchers and other stakeholders, and the RCOG Heritage team is keen to promote this fascinating history of midwifery and women’s health services to a wider audience.
Volunteer assistance is vital to achieving projects in conservation and providing access to the material, and can offer volunteers opportunities to develop skills in technical systems, collection care and outreach, as well as providing an opportunity to be part of this charitable organisation’s vital work to improve standards in women’s health care both in the UK and internationally.
Our volunteer placements are flexible and aimed towards providing experience of working in the field of archives and museums.
To learn more about our placements, please send your CV and a covering letter expressing your interest to heritage@rcog.org.uk.
