TOG symbolThe journal for continuing professional development (CPD) from the RCOG.

With its mixture of high-quality, peer reviewed articles, The Obstetrician & Gynaecologist (TOG) is an ideal resource for your continuing professional development in women’s health.

Covid-19 update: print and distribution suspended

Owing to ongoing effects of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the printing and distribution of hard copies of TOG to RCOG members is currently suspended.

This means that, unfortunately, you will not be receiving your usual print copy of TOG in October.

All of the usual high-quality content, plus additional online-only content such as infographics and videos, will be available on the TOG app and TOG online, and we will alert you when the October issue is available. We hope to resume print copies of TOG when circumstances allow.

You can access the journal online by signing into the College website and navigating to the ‘My Benefits’ section of your account.

Non-members and individual subscribers

Non-members have limited access to TOG content here, and can also find out how to subscribe to TOG.

If you already subscribe to TOG but are not an RCOG Fellow, Member, registered Trainee, Associate or CPD Associate, you can access TOG via Wiley Online Library

TOG CPD and SBA questions

Continuing professional development (CPD) questions are produced for most review articles published in TOG. If you have access to the RCOG CPD ePortfolio, you can answer the TOG questions as part of your knowledge-based assessment.

Single best answer (SBA) questions are also produced for most TOG articles. These are a helpful revision tool as they are similar to the question format in the MRCOG exams. However, they are free to access for everyone, whether you are preparing for an exam or not. They can be found on the StratOG website.

Please read the page on TOG CPD questions in the Guide to CPD.
