Open access publishing in TOG

As of 1 April 2013, all articles based on publicly funded research in the UK must be published open access. Open access means an article must be freely available to anyone who wishes to read it, not restricted to people who subscribe to the journal in which the article is published.

TOG open access policy

TOG is fully compliant with these requirements through OnlineOpen. With OnlineOpen, the author, the author’s funding agency or the author’s institution pays a fee to ensure the article is made open access.

The same open access policy also applies to BJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
