This page provides links to information about subscriptions to The Obstetrician & Gynaecologist (TOG), and answers frequently asked questions about TOG subscriptions.
Fellows, Members and registered Trainees receive TOG as part of their membership benefits. Please see the FAQs below for information about any membership subscription issues.
If you’re not an RCOG member and would like information about how to subscribe to TOG and current rates, please visit the TOG subscription page on Wiley Online Library. For all subscription enquiries, please email Wiley Journal Customer Services.
I haven’t received my copy of TOG
Occasionally, RCOG Fellows, Members or registered Trainees don’t receive their print copy of TOG. This can usually be explained by one of the following reasons:
- A change of address: Mailing data for TOG is extracted from the database approximately 6 weeks before the issue is mailed out. If we are informed of a change of address less than 6 weeks before the issue is mailed out, the issue will go to your old address. If you think this might be the case, please check your old address before getting in touch with Membership Services for a replacement copy.
- A delay in RCOG membership subscription fee payment: All benefits of membership will be suspended if your subscription fee isn’t received by the final deadline. The mailing data for TOG is extracted from the database approximately 6 weeks before the issue is due to be mailed. If your benefits were suspended at the time the data were extracted (even if the membership subscription fee was settled 6 weeks before the issue of TOG was due to be mailed), a copy of TOG will not be mailed to you. Please contact Membership Services for a replacement.
- A trainee membership category: Trainees do not receive TOG as an automatic benefit of membership. However, signing up to the Trainees’ Register provides access to a range of benefits including a print and online subscription to TOG. This subscription option is particularly good value for overseas trainees.
Please request a replacement copy as soon as possible and within the volume year as the number of replacement copies available is limited. If we don’t receive a request for a replacement copy within the volume year, you may be able to purchase a back issue from Wiley-Blackwell. Please note that all TOG content is available online and can be downloaded as PDF files and printed for offline reading.
If you are not a Fellow, Member or registered Trainee of the RCOG, you can purchase a subscription to TOG via our publishing partner Wiley-Blackwell. For more information, please visit the TOG Wiley Online Library subscriptions page.
Subscribers who pay for their TOG subscription should email Wiley-Blackwell Journal Customer Services.
I can’t access the online version of TOG
All TOG content is hosted by Wiley Online Library. To read TOG online and download PDFs of TOG articles, RCOG Fellows, Members and registered Trainees must first sign in to the RCOG website, then access TOG online via the link on the main TOG page. This process provides access to all TOG online content (and doesn’t require a log-in to Wiley Online Library).
Please note that Wiley Online Library also has a facility to log in, but this won’t give Fellows, Members and registered Trainees access to TOG.
If you are not an RCOG Fellow, Member or registered Trainee and you have a subscription to TOG, please log in to Wiley Online Library.
I would like to purchase back issues of TOG
TOG’s publisher, Wiley-Blackwell, holds a small amount of back issues for purchase. Please email Wiley Journal Customer Services with your back issue request and they will provide a quote. Please include the journal name, volume, issue number and year of publication.
