For the first time in its history, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists is extending voting in its 2019 Presidential Election to the broader UK and Ireland membership.
As part of the election process, the five presidential candidates are taking part in a Q&A session on Thursday 9 May, from 7-8.30pm.
The Electoral Reform Society (ERS) are running the Presidential election process and will be live-streaming the Q&A session

The successful candidate will succeed the current President, Professor Lesley Regan in December 2019. The candidates running for President in the 2019 election, are:
The Q&A session will be presided over by the RCOG’s Women’s Voices Lead, Kate Brian, who will ask each of the candidates a series of questions and provide them with the opportunity to make a closing statement at the end.
Voting for the election opens on Monday 13 May and closes on Friday 7 June. The result will be announced later in June.
