Ian Wylie, Chief Executive of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) said:
“The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) supports a call by the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) for the Prime Minister to immediately review how the demand on the NHS is met and resourced.
"Faced with unprecedented demand, coupled with underinvestment in clinicians, infrastructure and social care, all sides need to come together to find new solutions backed by adequate investment. We need to ensure that health and social care services are enabled, now and in the future, to provide the high quality care that people deserve.”
