Stillbirth: A themed issue from BJOG
The January 2018 themed issue from BJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is dedicated to original research and commentaries on preventing stillbirth, improving care for bereaved parents, and supporting women in pregnancies after stillbirth.
A selected number of papers have been published with a plain language summary. Each summary has been prepared by the author of the paper, and carefully reviewed by BJOG’s Guest Lay Editors, Claire Storey and Lindsey Wimmer.
We hope that women, and their families, affected by stillbirth will gain a better understanding of the studies published in the issue by reading these plain language summaries. The BJOG team is keen for the research we publish to reach more women and caregivers. If you would like to find out more about getting involved with health research, we recommend INVOLVE, run by the National Institute for Health Research.
