There are a variety of ways that you can be involved with education as a SAS doctor.
You could:
- Train to be an educational supervisor, trainer or examiner
- Consider taking part in formal education of undergraduate medical students or allied health professionals
- Train to sit on interview panels
- Get involved in your hospital induction of SAS doctors

The RCOG has developed an Educational Supervisor’s Toolkit, which provides information for SAS doctors considering the role of being an educational supervisor, as well as support for educational supervisors supervising doctors outside of the formal training programme.
