Module 8 is primarily designed to provide suggestions to equip you with the tools to address negative behaviours.
As well as looking at ‘speaking up’ if you have been subjected to or witnessed poor workplace behaviour, it explores the concept of a second messenger system for ‘calling out’ poor behaviours.
It includes excerpts from ‘In Conversation with Chris Turner’ where Chris, a founding member of Civility Saves Lives and instigator of ‘Calling it out with Compassion’ workshops shares his knowledge and insights into difficult conversations as well as facilitating 3 role-play scenarios.
This module is designed for conversations related to single unprofessional incidents which warrant informal ‘cup of coffee’ interventions. However, the principles of compassion and support that are utilised in these conversations can also be used within the context of formal interventions.
