Travel advice

The RCOG World Congress takes place in different countries across the world. These locations are all different and have varying local customs and laws.

We ask attendees to familiarise themselves with local customs, etiquette, laws and relevant guidance as provided by the UK Governments foreign travel advice. The website provides additional useful links to reliable sources of information and advice on a range of topics.

Local laws reflect the fact that Oman is an Islamic country. You should respect traditions, customs, laws and religions at all times and be aware of your actions to ensure that they don’t offend.

RCOG World Congress 2024 has been planned with support from the Oman Ministry of Heritage and Tourism.
