About the resource
This free online resource offers six interactive modules designed to support meaningful change across the obstetrics and gynaecology workforce. Through real-life scenarios, videos, reflection tools and curated readings, participants explore core race equity principles and strategies.
Each module includes optional deeper dives and awards a certificate of completion recognising your commitment to fostering inclusion and equity in clinical practice.

What's included: six modules to drive equity
1. Introduction and overview
Introduces the purpose and approach of the Race Equity in the Workforce resource package. Sets the context for the six modules and outlines key principles that guide the content.
2. Anti-racist leadership
Explores behaviours and language, and how leaders can take accountability for racism within their organisation. Covers how to set clear policies and monitor, measure progress and address discrimination.
3. Equitable teams
Highlights the importance of creating equitable teams for unlocking innovation and collaboration; promotes fair recruitment practices and outlines clear channels for escalation.
4. Support
Focuses on building a sense of belonging and addressing differential attainment. Explores the role of mentorship, allyship and equitable access to support following an adverse event.
5. Empowerment
Builds skills in self-advocacy, negotiation and conflict resolution, while challenging stereotypes and assumptions.
6. Psychological safety at work
This principle underpins all modules. Emphasises the importance of everyone feeling included in a team, able to learn, able to ask questions and to challenge without fear of negative consequences.
