By train

From London Bridge train station

The College is a 5-10 minute walk from the newly redeveloped London Bridge Railway Station.

The station is served by Thameslink, Southern and Southeastern main line train services.

Exiting the station from the upper concourse (platform level)

  • Take the London Bridge Street exit and follow road ahead of you to your left
  • At Borough High Street, turn left and continue to walk on the left hand side of the road
  • Pass the first pedestrian crossing and continue down the road for a few minutes until you see the second pedestrian crossing
  • Cross the road using the pedestrian crossing and turn left and then immediate right into Union Street
  • The College will be on your right.

Exiting the station from the lower concourse (below platform level)

  • Take St Thomas Street exit and turn right to walk along St Thomas Street
  • At Borough High Street, turn left and continue to walk on the left hand side of the road
  • Pass the first pedestrian crossing and continue down the road for a few minutes until you see the second pedestrian crossing
  • Cross the road using the pedestrian crossing and turn left and then immediate right into Union Street
  • The College will be on your right.

From King’s Cross or St Pancras International station

  • Take a Thameslink train from St Pancras International to London Bridge railway station

OR

  • Take the Northern Line southbound from Kings Cross St Pancras underground station to London Bridge underground station 

From Paddington station

  • Take the Bakerloo Line (eastbound) and change at Baker Street underground station
  • Cross the platform and take the Jubilee Line (eastbound) to London Bridge underground statiom 

From Euston station

  • Take the Northern Line (bank branch) southbound from Euston tube station to London Bridge tube station

By tube/underground

The College is a 5 minute walk from the nearest underground station, London Bridge.

London Bridge underground station is served by the Northern (Bank branch) and Jubilee Lines. There is step free access at this station.

From London Bridge underground station

  • Follow the signs for the exit signposted Borough High Street
  • After the ticket barriers, take the exit signposted Borough High Street (east side) which is also the exit for Guys’ Hospital and The Shard
  • At Borough High Street, turn left and continue to walk on the left hand side of the road
  • Pass the first pedestrian crossing and continue down the road for a few minutes until you see the second pedestrian crossing
  • Cross the road using the pedestrian crossing and turn left and then immediate right into Union Street
  • The College will be on your right. 

By bus

The London Bridge area is served by a number of buses. A map of local bus routes can be found here:

By car

There are no car parking facilities at Union Street.

By bike

The College has cycle racks and showers available for visitors.

Union Street itself is part of TFL’s Cycle Quiet Way 14 and is close to Cycle Super Highway 7.

There's also a Santander cycle hire docking station further along Union Street.

You can also hire Brompton bikes from Brompton Docks.


By air

From Gatwick Airport

  • There is a direct train from Gatwick Airport from London Bridge railway station. Fast trains take around 30 minutes
  • Contactless credit/debit cards and Oyster cards can be used on this route.

From Heathrow Airport

  • By underground, take the Piccadilly Line from Heathrow Airport to Green Park
  • Change at Green Park to the Jubilee Line (eastbound) to London Bridge Underground Station
  • The journey will take around an hour to London Bridge
  • Contactless credit/debit cards and Oyster cards can be used on this route. 

From London City Airport

  • Take the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) to Canning Town
  • Change at Canning Town to take the Jubilee Line (westbound) to London Bridge underground station
  • The journey will take around 25 minutes to London Bridge
  • Contactless credit/debit cards and Oyster cards can be used on this route.
