Do I need an account?

All website users need to sign in to the website to book courses, exams and events, and to update the details we hold on you.

RCOG members also need to sign in to the website to access online benefits such as TOG, BJOG, StratOG and the CPD ePortfolio.

 

Who has a website account?

All RCOG Fellows, Members and Trainees have a website account.

If you booked an event, course or exam in the past, you will have a website account.

If you’re not sure if you have an account, or you can’t remember which email address you registered with, you can:

  • Try using email addresses in the reset-password process
  • Contact us, providing your RCOG number and any email addresses

 

How do I log in to the website?

All website users need to log in to the website to book courses, exams and events and to update the details we hold on you. RCOG members also need to sign in to the website to access online benefits such as TOGBJOG, StratOG and the CPD ePortfolio.

All RCOG Fellows, Members and Trainees will have a website account and will be able to sign in. To sign in to the website, click on the blue ‘Sign in’ button in the top right-hand corner of the page and enter your log-in details.

Your username is the email address you've registered as your main email address in the RCOG’s records.

Once you’ve signed in, you’ll be able to access all content available to you and book courses, events and exams. To update the details we hold on you, make payments such as your registration fee, and access presentations and materials for any courses you’re booked on, click on the blue ‘My account’ button at the top of the page.

 

How do I create a new account on the website?

If you already have an account, do not create a new account.

Duplicate accounts do not have essential information such as exam history, benefits and booking permissions. Duplicate accounts causes problems and delays.

If you can't remember if you have an account, trying resetting your password using any email addresses you may have used.

If you have an account but can't log in, please contact us.

If you definitely don't already have an account, you can create an RCOG account by completing the registration form.

Once you’ve created your account, go to "My Account" at the top of the page, and make a note of your RCOG number.

From the "My account" section, you can update your details, make payments (including your registration fee), and access presentations and materials for any courses you’re booked on.

 

How do I change my password or login email address?

To change your password or login email address:

  • Sign in to the website using the blue ‘Sign in’ button
  • Go to ‘My account’
  • Click on ‘My details’
  • You can update your username and password in the ‘Login’ tab.

If you are updating only your email address, you only need to complete the email address fields.

If you are updating only your password, you only need to complete the password fields.

 

I've forgotten my password

Reset your password here

If you’re an RCOG Fellow, Member or Trainee, your password would have originally been computer-generated, but you may have changed it since then.

If you’ve forgotten your password, please go to the forgotten password page and follow the instructions to reset your password. The password reset process works as follows:

  • Enter your username (login email address) and click ‘Reset password’
  • You’ll receive an automated email containing a unique link to a secure page on the RCOG website. Please note the link will only be active for 8 hours after you receive the email.
  • For security reasons, we’ll ask you to verify your registered email address. Enter your login email address, then click ‘Verify’.
  • Finally, click the blue ‘Complete password reset’ button.
  • You’ll then receive an automated email with your new password, which you can use to sign in to the website
  • Please note that your new password will be automatically generated. We strongly advise that you immediately set a new password – you can do this in the ‘My profile’ section of the site, under ‘My details’.

Please note: For your security, the password reset process is now completely automated.

RCOG staff do not have any access to website users’ passwords, and will be unable to either tell you what your password is or reset your password for you.

 

I’ve forgotten my login email address

Your username is the email address in our records that you’ve indicated is your main email.

If you can’t remember what this is, please email online@rcog.org.uk or call +44 20 7772 6225, and we’ll be able to help you.

Please provide your College registration number. We’ll also ask you a series of security questions before letting you know your username.

 

The website isn’t displaying correctly

Our site supports the following browsers:

  • Internet Explorer (IE) – version 8.0 or higher
  • Chrome – latest version
  • Safari – latest version
  • Firefox – latest version

If you are working on an NHS computer which uses Internet Explorer version 6 or 7 (IE6 or IE7), you will experience problems accessing our website. Unfortunately, we are unable to support IE6 and IE7 owing to internet-wide security issues with these browers that affect our compliance with Payment Card Industry (PCI) requirements, which control our ability to take payments online.

Therefore, to ensure our website displays correctly on your computer, please update your version of Internet Explorer to IE8 or above, or install an alternative browser, such as Chrome or Firefox. If you are working on an NHS computer, please ask your trust or hospital IT department for assistance.
