Over the spring and summer of 2021, the Department of Health and Social Care has been consulting on a Women’s Health Strategy for England. This has included a call for evidence to ask women about their needs and experiences, as well as an opportunity for organisations with expertise in women’s health to submit a response. This is our full response to the consultation.
This Taskforce advises the College on issues related to race equality, with a focus on addressing the unacceptable disparities in health outcomes and experiences for BAME girls and women in the UK today, and tackling the impact of bias and racism on doctors working in obstetrics and gynaecology.
During 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, the international community is called upon to raise awareness and take action to end violence against all women and girls around the world.
The campaign runs from 25 November, International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, to 10 December, International Human Rights Day.
