New report reveals continuing shifts in birth trends in Great Britain A new State of the Nation report published today by the National Maternity and Perinatal Audit (NMPA), analyses data from 593,475 women and birthing people who gave birth to a singleton baby in NHS maternity services across Great Britain in 2024 and shows continuing shifts in how babies are being born.
