Registration FAQs
You can register for the RCOG World Congress 2024 via the official Congress registration website.
Group registrations will be accepted for a minimum of 10 participants. Please contact RCOG-registration@kit-group.org for further information. The deadline for group bookings is Friday 4 October 2024. After the group registration deadline, registrations are only possible on-site. See terms and conditions here for full details.
You can see the fees on the RCOG website and the ticket is valid for all three days.
The registration fee includes:
- Full three day programme with over 60 hours of CPD content
- Six-month post-event access to all* content via a state-of-the-art virtual platform to suit your flexible learning needs
- Access to a state-of-the-art convention and exhibition centre located in the heart of Muscat, Oman
- Opening ceremony and welcome reception for all delegates
- Admission to all sessions, the exhibition area, the poster area and the opening ceremony/closing session
- Lunch and refreshments across all three days
- Congress pocket programme
- Access to the exclusive Congress app

The registration fee only covers the scientific programme and authorised modest activities and hospitality. Any additional events containing aspects of entertainment (such as the Omani networking evening) are subject to a separate fee and will be held outside of the programme time/educational hours. Please note that there will be no alcohol served during any part of Congress, where refreshments are provided these will be soft drinks.
No, you cannot join Congress virtually. The event will be held in person in Muscat, Oman and we regret that no virtual attendance is possible. Registered delegates will have six months post-event access to all talks available after the event (subject to speaker premission).
You can pay the delegate fees by bank transfer or credit card.
When you register, tick the box on page one of the registration form saying: Different invoice address (only select this box if you need an invoice with a different address) and type the name of the organisation paying. On the last summary page, when asked if you are paying by Credit Card or bank transfer, select bank transfer. You will receive an invoice and payment details in the name of the organisation paying.
Letters of invitation are available by ticking the box on the registration form and completing the details.
Most visitors will require a visa to enter Oman. You can apply and get further details on the official Oman Evisa website or you can apply through House of Khimji travel (coming March 2024) who, for a small charge, will support you through the process. It is recommended you apply for a Tourist Visit Visa. It is the sole responsibility of the participant to take care of their visa requirements.

At the event FAQs
We want to make it as easy as possible for parents and carers to attend Congress. We have a parent room located at the venue for use during Congress and only ask that if you are bringing a baby/child, you are mindful of other attendees and ensure there is no noise disruption at any time
All food will be halal and vegetarian options will be available. For other requirements please select an option on the registration form.
For those following the RCOG CPD framework and ePortfolio
You may claim 1 credit up to 3 hours or 2 credits per day for a full day’s attendance at this event. Further credits are available for reflection and action following the activity (1 credit for reflection and 1 or 2 credits for action). Please see the RCOG CPD framework for further guidance.
For those not registered on the RCOG CPD programme
This event provides 65 hours of learning. You need to confirm with the institute which manages your CPD programme how to claim CPD credits for this learning.
Certificate of attendance
A certificate of attendance will be sent electronically after the Congress on completion of an online feedback questionnaire to the email address provided by the participant during registration. It is not possible to issue the certificate of attendance on site. Any claim in this regard is excluded.
Following the Congress, participants will be emailed a link to complete an online questionnaire, after which they will receive their certificate of attendance.
Yes there are several prayer rooms in the vicinty of the conference rooms.
No, alcohol will not be served during any part of Congress.
